16. How can I set a formative task for a later date?

Step 1: First, go to the set task menu by navigating from the SATs companion dashboard. Open the sidebar on the left-hand side of the screen. Open the ‘tasks’ menu and select ‘set formative’.



 

Step 2: When setting a formative task you must first assign a class, select a course, strand, topics, sub topics, difficulty and then pupils.





Step 3: Once these steps are complete, scroll down and you will be presented with 'select assign date'. The assignment date will be when the task becomes available to students. To set a task for a later date, select a future date when choosing the 'assign date' option.
