11. How to set difficulty levels
Step 1: First, go to the set task menu by navigating from the SATs companion dashboard. Open the sidebar on the left-hand side of the screen. Open the ‘tasks’ menu and select ‘set formative’.
Step 2: When setting a formative task you must first assign a class, select a course, strand, topics and sub topics. Once this is done you will have the option of setting a difficulty level. The difficulties range from 3 to 6+ and correspond to year groups 3 to 6 (with 6+ being gifted year 6 students). You can select multiple difficulties on one task.
