Step 1:From the SATs Companion dashboard, on the sidebar on the left-hand side of the screen. Open the ‘tasks’ menu and select ‘set summative’.
Step 2: From the summative task section, you have to select the 'topic test' option. You can select which course you want to assess and which specific topic (strand).
Step 3: You can preview questions by selecting the 'preview' option as displayed in the image below.
Step 4: You can also view a breakdown of the areas the topic test will focus on by selecting the 'breakdown view' option as presented in the image below.
Step 5: Then set the assign and completion dates. You can also select which students will take the topic test. To select all students choose the ‘select all’ option.
Step 6:You can now view your set 'topic test' from the ‘manage tasks’ menu, using the ‘summative’ tab.
