7. Settings/ Admin

The settings tab allows accounts to be personalised. 

Step 1: To find the settings, you must click on 'Settings' down the left hand side of the screen. Here, you will have the option to change the default settings, depending on your own preferences. 

'Open access to all strands' 

This gives you the option to uncheck the box to restrict access to strands for your pupils. 

This means they will have restricted access to the practice work. Instead of seeing all practice areas, this section will be blank for the pupils, until a specific task has been set to them. Then, only the strand that the task is related to will be able to be practiced more. 

'Formative Task Timer'

This gives you the option to hide the formative task timer on a year group basis. 

'Students to Admin Messaging' 

This box will need to be unchecked to restrict your pupils from messaging your school admin account. 

'Students to Teachers Messaging' 

This box will need to be unchecked if you would like to restrict pupils from messaging teachers. For information on how to send a message, please click here.

'Reset LeaderBoard'

To reset your pupils points on the LeaderBoard, you can select the class wanting to be reset and select 'Reset LeaderBoard' (which is highlighted in blue).

'Turn off the LeaderBoard' 

This gives you the option to turn off the LeaderBoard on the pupil dashboard. Deselect the check box to turn the LeaderBoard off. 

'Anonymise the LeaderBoard' 

This setting gives you the option to anonymise the leaderboard. By checking this box your pupil's usernames will be shown in this- 'Gor***2' format.
